IPL 2024 Playoffs Schedule Announced:
The much-awaited playoff schedule for the 17th season of IPL has been unveiled, bringing excitement to cricket enthusiasts. Following the initial phase’s schedule announcement earlier, the full picture of the season’s matches has now emerged, including the highly anticipated playoffs. The first phase schedule, comprising 21 matches spanning 17 days from March 22 to April 7, was announced by the BCCI on February 22. With the Lok Sabha elections also factored in, the subsequent phase’s schedule has been disclosed, commencing from April 8.
A Welcome Relief for Fans:
In a significant relief for cricket fans, the BCCI has confirmed that all 74 matches of this season will be hosted in India. This decision comes as a departure from previous seasons, where matches were occasionally moved abroad due to security concerns surrounding concurrent elections. Despite the ongoing general elections in India, the decision to conduct all matches domestically brings joy to fans eager to witness the IPL action on home soil.

Playoff Schedule Details:
The playoffs of the 17th season of IPL will commence from May 21. The first Qualifier match will be held on May 21 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This will be followed by an Eliminator match on May 22, also to be held in Ahmedabad. The second Qualifier will take place on May 24 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Furthermore, the final match is scheduled for May 26 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
