This move comes in response to Hasaranga’s persistent heel pain, which has led to his official exclusion from the tournament. Hasaranga, who was initially signed by Hyderabad at a base price of Rs 1.50 crore, will no longer be part of the team due to his injury concerns.

Prior to joining Sunrisers Hyderabad, Vijayakanth had notable stints in various T20 leagues around the world. He represented Chattogram Challengers in the Bangladesh Premier League, where he amassed 42 wickets in 33 matches at an economy rate of 6.76.
