On the last day of the unofficial Test match played between India-A and Australia-A, India’s young wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan got embroiled in controversies. Ishan Kishan has been accused of misbehavior and ball tampering. On the last day of the match on Sunday, the matter seemed to worsen and if the umpires found him guilty of not listening, then the Indian player may get into trouble.
According to local media, Ishan Kishan had argued with the field umpires about changing the ball, due to which he may be banned. The fourth day of the match started late because the umpires changed the ball. They said that there were scratch marks on the ball. India-A players were seen arguing with the umpires regarding this. During this, field umpire Shawn Craig was heard saying that the visiting team was responsible for the scratch marks on the ball.

Ball Tampering Concerns
According to the report of Australian newspaper The Age, the umpire said, “You scratched the ball. We changed the ball. No more discussion on this. Let’s start the match, this is not a matter of debate. You are playing with this ball.” Ishan replied, “Very rude.” This made the umpire even more angry. Responding to Ishan, he said, “You can be penalized for expressing dissatisfaction with the decision. This is wrong behavior. We have changed the ball because of what you did.
How serious the umpires are about ball tampering will be known after the match. If Indian players are found guilty of this, then they can also be banned according to Cricket Australia’s code of conduct.
