KL Rahul’s Classy Response to South African Bowler’s Banter: A Glimpse into the IND vs SA Test Match Mind Games

IND vs SA 1st Test – The Indian cricket team did not get off to a good start in the first Test match against South Africa. The South African bowlers really harassed the Indian batsmen.

KL Rahul managed the innings and saved India’s shame. On the first day on Tuesday, Team India lost 8 wickets and scored 208 runs. Rahul is unbeaten on 70 runs. Apart from Rahul, other key Indian batsmen are back in the tent.

Rahul will now have to fight the fort with the batsmen from Sheptakad. Rahul not only faced the South African pace but also responded by sledging along with it.

Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer tried to play a big innings. But neither could turn a good start into a big innings.

Kohli got out after scoring 38 runs. Iyer returned to the pavilion with 31 runs. But Rahul played a brilliant innings. The team fought alone.

So he was upset

Rahul also faced sledging from the South African bowlers. He responded to sledging very comfortably. South African left-arm fast bowler Marco Jansson was very aggressive.

He was not getting wickets, so he was upset. He tried to harass Rahul. Johnson was putting over before the tee break. Rahul defended one ball of this over very beautifully.

Johnson’s cross rose on it. He had a good tilpapad. He showed aggressiveness. He also said something to Rahul. But Rahul looked at Johnson and just smiled.
