Martin Guptill Shines in LLC T20 League

Former New Zealand opener Martin Guptill is currently playing in a LLC T20 league, in which many former great cricketers from around the world have participated. Guptill is representing Southern Super Stars in this T20 league.

Guptill, who was known for his explosive batting in his time, showed his old form against Manipal Tigers and won the hearts of the audience. A Memorable Over

Playing for Southern Super Stars, Guptill rained sixes in the 9th over of the innings bowled by Christian of Manipal Tigers. The right-handed batsman showed his aggressive form from the very first ball and hit a six over mid-wicket. On the next ball of the over, Guptill hit a six towards fine-leg.

After hitting two consecutive sixes, Martin Guptill did not spare Christian and hit a six over deep mid-wicket on the third ball. On the fourth ball, Guptill hit a six towards long on. This time his shot had so much power that the ball broke the window of the commentary box. Guptill hit a four on the fifth ball and took two runs on the last ball. In this way, Guptill scored a total of 30 runs in Christian’s over.

Martin Guptill played a stormy innings of 68 runs with the help of eight fours and four sixes in just 29 balls. Harbhajan Singh put an end to Guptill’s innings.
