Nitish Kumar Reddy’s Historic Performance Against Bangladesh

Indian team’s young all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy achieved two big achievements in the second T20I against Bangladesh. He became the first Indian player to score more than 70 runs in the same match and take two wickets while bowling. So far no Indian has been able to do this in T20I. With this, he became the second young Indian player to win the Player of the Match title.

Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first at the Arun Jaitley International Cricket Stadium in Delhi. After losing three wickets early, Nitish Reddy and Rinku Singh batted aggressively and laid the foundation for a big score. Nitish Kumar Reddy was also given the Player of the Match title for his excellent performance. Reddy became the second youngest Indian player to win this title.
