Pakistan Squad for ICC Women’s World Cup 2025: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced its 15-member squad for the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, which will be held from 30 September to 2 November. All-rounder Fatima Sana has been appointed captain, while wicketkeeper-batter Muneeba Ali Siddiqui will serve as vice-captain. Pakistan qualified for the tournament after finishing unbeaten in the Women’s World Cup Qualifier earlier this year, defeating strong teams like West Indies and Bangladesh.
This will be Fatima Sana’s first major assignment as captain in a global ICC event. The management hopes her leadership will bring fresh energy and results to Pakistan women’s cricket.
Young Talent in Pakistan Squad for ICC Women’s World Cup 2025
The squad includes uncapped batter Eyman Fatima, who recently made her T20I debut against Ireland. Alongside her, several players will make their first-ever ODI World Cup appearances, such as Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadaf Shamas, Sadia Iqbal, Shawaal Zulfiqar, and Syeda Aroob Shah.
Eyman Fatima and Sadaf Shamas were selected in place of Gull Feroza and Najiha Alvi, who have been placed on the five-member reserve list along with Tuba Hassan, Umm-e-Hani, and Waheeda Akhtar.
To ensure balance, the squad also includes experienced names like Diana Baig, Aliya Riaz, Sidra Amin, Sidra Nawaz, and Nashra Sundhu, who will guide the younger players both on and off the field.
