Priyansh Arya Century in DPL 2025 Shines Despite Outer Delhi Defeat

Outer Delhi Warriors (ODW) put up a fighting display in their fourth match of the Delhi Premier League 2025, thanks to a brilliant Priyansh Arya century in DPL 2025. The opener smashed a stunning 111 runs off just 56 balls, hitting 9 sixes and 7 fours, and registered his first ton of the season. Despite his heroics, ODW lost a close encounter to East Delhi Riders (EDR), who chased down the target in the final over.
ODW were sent in to bat first after EDR won the toss. The innings began with Priyansh Arya and Sanat Sangwan opening the batting. Sanat fell early, but Priyansh showed great composure, taking his time to settle before launching his trademark attacking strokes. Battling heat and humidity, he played a mix of powerful shots and smart placement, guiding his team to an imposing 231/7 in 20 overs.
Karan Garg, batting at number three, gave valuable support with a quickfire 43 off 24 balls. Their 92-run stand laid a strong platform for ODW’s big total.

A Knock to Remember
While the result was disappointing for Outer Delhi Warriors, the match will be remembered for the Priyansh Arya century in DPL 2025 — an innings built on patience, power, and precision. Speaking after the match, Priyansh revealed that his childhood coach had asked him to score a century before the game, and he was happy to deliver on that promise.
The Warriors may have lost, but the fighting spirit and standout performances show they remain a dangerous side in the competition.
