R Ashwin on RCB Captaincy: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) released Faf du Plessis ahead of the upcoming season of IPL and till now the franchise has not even announced the name of the new captain.
Now in such a situation, there is only one question in the minds of the fans, who will captain the team in IPL 2025, there is still doubt about it. However, Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin believes that Virat Kohli will captain RCB in IPL 2025.
R Ashwin Predicts Virat Kohli as RCB’s Captain for IPL 2025
Talking about the Royal Challengers Bengaluru squad after the mega auction for IPL 2025, Ashwin said that he has no option other than Virat for captaincy.
Just a few days ago, former South African captain AB de Villiers had predicted that Virat Kohli would lead the franchise next year. Virat Kohli left the captaincy of RCB after 2021.
Now R Ashwin said on his YouTube channel, “There is every possibility that Virat Kohli will captain the team.
I feel so because they did not go for the captaincy. If he doesn’t go with anyone, I don’t see anyone other than Virat Kohli as captain.” Regarding the RCB auction, the spinner further said, “I think their auction was great.

RCB’s Smart Auction Strategy
