R Ashwin Becomes Highest Wicket-Taker in World Test Championship

Indian all-rounder R Ashwin achieved a special record in the second Test match against New Zealand at the MCA Stadium in Pune. In the second Test match, Ashwin gave New Zealand a blow after blow. With this, he has now become the highest wicket-taker in the ICC World Test Championship.

Ashwin Surpasses Nathan Lyon

In 39 matches R Ashwin surpassed Nathan Lyon to reach 188 wickets as Will Young wicket. The Australian spinner has taken 187 wickets in 43 Tests. Australian captain Pat Cummins is third in the list.
