Rohit Sharma Scold Jaiswal:  During the fourth Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy series at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Indian captain Rohit Sharma was heard advising young Yashasvi Jaiswal on how to field at the silly point position.

During Australia’s innings, Ravindra Jadeja was bowling to Steve Smith trying to play a defensive shot which went to Jaiswal at a silly point. Instead of positioning himself to block the ball, Jaiswal jumped to miss it. Rohit’s advice to Jaiswal was captured on the stump mic, where Rohit told the youngster not to move until the ball was played.

“Ai Jaisu, gali cricket khel raha hai kya. Ala sit ke re. Jab tak ball khelega nahin, utne ka nahin. Ala sit ke re,” said Rohit.

Meanwhile, Australia opted to bat first and their top order capitalized on the situation. Debutant Sam Konstas made an aggressive innings with a 65-ball 60 to give the hosts a strong start. Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne added crucial fifties in the third session of the first day.

Meanwhile, after a good start by the hosts, the Indian bowlers made a strong comeback in the match. Thanks to India’s legendary pacer Jasprit Bumrah who has already taken three wickets along with the wickets of Usman Khawaja, Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh.
