Buttler May Return in the Auction

The Rajasthan Royals team has not completely decided to distance itself from Butler. According to the report, the franchise will try to include him in the team again during the auction.

Apart from these four players, the Rajasthan Royals team is considering retaining one more player. According to the report, this player is none other than young wicketkeeper-batsman Dhruv Jurel. Jurel was associated with the franchise in 2022 and has been continuously with the team since then. The franchise bought Jurel in 2022 at his base price (Rs 20 lakh).

Budget and Retention Costs

However, the franchise will give how much money to which players. This news has not been confirmed. But it is confirmed that if the RR team has to retain four players in its fleet, it will have to spend at least Rs 47 crore from its total purse of Rs 120 crore.
