SA vs IND 2nd T20 – In the second T20 match between team India and South Africa, team India lost by 5 wickets. Team India batted strongly in this match.
The rain intervened and the picture changed as Team India was 180 runs. At that time Rinku Singh was playing on 68 runs not out. There were three balls left in the last over.
Even if two of the three sixers had sat, the target would have been more than 190. But a revised target was given as per Duckworth-Lewis rule.
Africa needed 154 runs in 15 overs but Africa won in 14th over. Speaking after this match, Surya has given his reaction on where the match went.
What did Suryakumar Yadav say?
After our batting, when the match was halfway through, I thought the target was right. But in the first five to six overs, the African players batted strongly and the match went away from us.
Telling everyone, feel free to play and prove yourself. The problems in front of us increased as the ball got wet. But it is a good lesson for us as we have to face such situations in future. Suryakumar Yadav said that we are excited for the third T20 match.
Meanwhile, the bowlers of Team India were taken seriously by the African batsmen in the first over. Team India made a comeback when Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Siraj and Mukesh Kumar took wickets.
But due to lack of runs in the last over, Team India lost. Team India will try hard to make a comeback in the third match.
