AU-W team batted first in this match and scored 134 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. The team’s wicketkeeper and opening batsman Beth Mooney scored the highest 44 runs. Due to the injury of the team’s regular captain and experienced batsman Alyssa Healy, Grace Harris was sent to open but she returned to the pavilion cheaply. AU-W has lost in the semi-final for the first time in the T20 World Cup. The second semi-final match of the ICC T20 World Cup will be played between NZ-W and WI-W tomorrow. WI-W reached to the semi-finals by defeating EN-W. The team that manages to win this match will face South Africa in the final. WI-W previously won the T20 World Cup in 2016.
