In response, South Africa’s batting lineup delivered a steady performance. Captain Temba Bavuma and Tony de Zorzi provided a solid start, adding 40 runs for the first wicket. Aiden Markram played a key role in the chase, scoring an unbeaten 69 runs off 67 balls. He was supported by Tristan Stubbs, who remained unbeaten on 26. South Africa chased down the target in 33 overs, sealing the win by 7 wickets.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz was named Player of the Match and Player of the Series for his consistent performances. Despite Afghanistan’s loss in the final match, they had already secured the series with a 2-1 victory.
