Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup Semi Final – India’s youth team suffered a shocking defeat in the semi-final of the Under-19 Asia Cup today.
Bangladesh registered a surprise result in the tournament as they won by 4 wickets. Bangladesh’s Ariful Islam and Ahrar Amin sealed India’s defeat by making a century partnership for the fourth wicket.
India’s defeat also ended the excitement of the IND vs PAK match in the final.
The batsmen of the Indian team, who dominated the entire tournament, failed in the semi-finals. Adarsh Singh (2), Arshin Kulkarni (1), skipper Uday Shahran (0) were forced to retire on single runs.

Maruf Mridha showed these three to the tent. Priyanshu Molia (19) and Sachin Dhas (16) tried to fight back, but Dollah Borson sent both back.
Mumbai’s Musheer Khan was seen playing a restrained game in one side and was supported by Murugan Abhishek. Musheer scored 50 runs off 61 balls with 3 fours, while Murugan scored 62 runs off 74 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes.
After the wickets of these two, the entire Indian team returned to the tent for 188 runs in 42.4 overs. For Bangladesh, Maruf took 4 wickets, Borson and Sheikh Jibon took 2 wickets each.
