Kieron Pollard: Guiding England in T20 World Cup 2024
Former West Indies captain and star all-rounder Kieron Pollard will be seen leading England to victory in the T20 World Cup. Pollard is working with the English team as an associate coach. 37-year-old Pollard was seen in Barbados during England’s training session. Defending champions England recently won a big 2-0 win against Pakistan. The England Cricket Board shared some pictures of Pollard on social media, in which he is seen guiding the players during the practice session.

Kieron Pollard’s Influence on England’s Campaign
After Matthew Mott’s tenure ended in December 2023, Pollard was appointed as his batting coach by the England Board. Under the guidance of Pollard, the English team is playing in the T20 World Cup being held in the US and the West Indies. With the World Cup being in Pollard’s home country, he has an idea of the grounds there.
Kieron Pollard has represented the Caribbean team in 101 Twenty20 matches in international cricket. He played a key role in the team’s World Twenty20 win in 2012 and captained the 2021 edition. Although he retired from international cricket in 2022, Pollard is active in several Twenty20 franchise leagues around the world and plays various roles.
