West Indies Cricket Board has unveiled the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup set to take place in West Indies and America. Rovman Powell has been entrusted with the captaincy role, with Alzari Joseph named as the vice-captain. The squad comprises a mix of experienced campaigners and emerging talents.

Notably, explosive batsman Kyle Meyers has been left out of the squad. Indies, a two-time T20 World Cup champion, aims to make a mark in the tournament after failing to qualify for the 2022 edition. The Indies team has been grouped in Group C alongside New Zealand, Afghanistan, Papua New Guinea, and Uganda. Their campaign kicks off with a match against Papua New Guinea on June 2nd.
