Indian team made a winning start in the T20 World Cup tournament. India easily surpassed the target of 97 runs set by Ireland in 12.2 overs. Rohit Sharma’s half-century and Rishabh Pant’s strong innings led India to the victory and topped Group A with 2 points and a hefty net run rate of 3.065.
