India’s Warm-Up Plans Match for T20 World Cup 2024
There were many types of news regarding India’s practice matches in the Twenty20 World Cup 2024. , According to a report in Cricbuzz, Rohit Sharma and the team will play a warm-up match before the main event, as the Indian players are quite tired due to IPL 2024 and hence a warm-up match will be organized for them. The same report also states that the team is keen to play that match in New York, as they do not want to travel to Florida just for a practice match.

T20 World Cup: India Key Warm-Up Match and Schedule
Now, as per ESPNCricinfo report, India’s only warm-up match in the Twenty20 World Cup 2024 will be against Bangladesh on June 1 at Eisenhower Park in New York. The much-awaited match between India vs Pakistan will take place at this venue on June 9. ICC events head Chris Tetley said that tickets for the IND vs PAK match are still available. People have limited opportunities to buy tickets for any match. Some tickets have been made available for all matches.
The Indian team was earlier scheduled to leave for New York on May 21, soon after the conclusion of the IPL league stage. But, now the team will leave in two batches on 25th and 26th May. India’s league matches in New York will be played on June 5 (vs Ireland), June 9 (vs Pakistan), and June 12 (vs USA). The final league match against Canada will be played on June 15 in Florida.
