The Tamil Nadu Premier League 2024 is scheduled to begin on July 5 in Salem and conclude on August 4 in Chennai. The tournament is organized by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA).
In the eighth edition of the TNPL 2024, eight teams, namely Chepauk Super Gillies, Nellai Royal Kings, Salem Spartans, Siechem Madurai Panthers, Dindigul Dragons, Idream Tiruppur Tamizhans, Lyca Kovai Kings and Trichy Grand Cholas will compete in 32 matches.
During the TNPL 2024, each team will play against the other seven sides once in a single round-robin format.
The top four teams will qualify for the playoffs, including Qualifier 1, the Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and the final.
In Qualifier 1, the top two teams in the standings, after all the league matches, will compete for a spot in the final.
The third and fourth-placed teams will face off in the Eliminator to stay in the running for the TNPL 2024 title.
The winner of the Eliminator will then play against the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2 for the other spot in the final.
