BCCI Announces New National Cricket Academy
Team India is currently on a tour of Sri Lanka. Team India led by Suryakumar Yadav thrashed Sri Lanka 3-0 in the T20i series. After that, a 3-match ODI series is being played against Sri Lanka under the leadership of Rohit Sharma. Meanwhile, big news has come out from the Indian cricket circle. BCCI Secretary Jai Shah made a big announcement on Saturday 3rd August. Jai Shah’s announcement will greatly benefit the Indian players. Jai Shah has informed about this decision on social media.
Information about the new NCA i.e. National Cricket Academy for Indian players has been given. Bangalore NCA was established a few years ago. After that, this NC will have modern and world-class facilities. So that there will be no hindrance to Indian players in their practice. It can also be practiced in a better way. Not only this but now the practice will not be interrupted due to rain. Team India and domestic cricketers work hard on their fitness after injury here at NCA.

Key Features of the New NCA
Jai Shah has posted 4 photos of NCA in his X post. In one of the photos, the field for practice can be seen. In the second photo, a photo of indoor practice is shared. The third photo shows the practice pitch and the fielding area. Also, a glimpse of this NCA has been shown through a drone shot. The work in this NCA is now in its final stages.
Current NCA and Future Prospects
BCCI’s current National Cricket Academy is located at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. So it is not possible to have both match and practice at the same time. Therefore, a new academy was proposed at a walking distance from this stadium itself. After that, all these efforts are being seen in real life

This new NC will have 3 world-class grounds, 45 pitches for practice, indoor pitches, Olympic quality swimming pool, modern training setter, all facilities related to sports science will be available. This new NCA will help improve the performance of the existing and new generation of cricketers”, Jay Shah believes.
