Captain’s Thoughts:

It feels good to win today’s match. Today’s match was important for us. We started well both in bowling and batting. Some of the balls on the wicket were coming with grip so it was difficult to hit the length ball. I discussed this with all our bowlers. We knew the wicket was going to get help with the new ball early on. But once the ball got old it would be easy to score runs. Shubman Gill said that this is a good thing for us as every player in the team is contributing.
