Addressing the Transition Phase of Senior Players
Initially, the CAC members asked Gambhir and Raman questions about Indian cricket. At the same time, a question was also asked about the senior players of Team India. Which included the names of Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, and Mohammed Shami. Raman also outlined the roadmap for Team India and the duo then gave a presentation that laid out the roadmap for how the team could win the ICC trophy.
Gautam Gambhir’s Coaching Credentials
Three Questions
1. What are your thoughts on the team’s coaching staff?
2. There are some older players in both the batting and bowling departments and how do you handle the transition phase?
3. What are your views on split captaincy, fitness parameters related to workload management, and the team’s failure to win ICC trophies?
As the next head coach of Team India, winning the ICC trophy will be a big challenge for him. After this, the focus will also be on how the team performs in each format. Gambhir has mentored only in IPL. He currently has no coaching experience in such situations. But Kolkata won IPL 2024 under Gambhir’s guidance.
