Changes in Both Teams After Recent Defeats
This Test marks South Africa’s first series after they tour New Zealand, where they lost both matches. West Indies, coming off a 3–0 series loss to England, made several changes to their lineup for this match. Notably, Kisi Carty debuted in place of Kirk McKenzie, and Kemar Roach returned to the bowling attack after recovering from an injury that kept him out of the England series.
The weather is expected to improve in the following days, giving both teams a chance to make an impact in this crucial Test match.
