Ishaan Kishan scored 150 runs after scoring the first half-century of his career and then he converted this century into a double century. He completed his double century in 126 balls with the help of 23 four and 9 sixes. During this, his strike rate was 158.73. He has broken the record of Chris Gayle. Gayle had earlier made this record against Zimbabwe. Ishan Kishan was dismissed after playing an innings of 210 runs off 131 balls. He was caught by Taskin Ahmed by captain Liton Das. He shared a 290-run partnership for the second wicket with Virat Kohli.

Ishaan became the fourth Indian batsman

Talking about Indian batsmen who have scored 200 runs in ODI cricket, Ishaan Kishan has become the fourth batsman who has done this feat. Before Kishan, Rohit Sharma, Virender Sehwag, and Sachin Tendulkar scored 200 runs in ODI cricket. Rohit Sharma has done this feat maximum of 3 times. However, the credit for scoring 200 runs in ODIs for the first time goes to the great Sachin Tendulkar, who scored an unbeaten 200 against South Africa at Gwalior.
