David Warner Joins Karachi Kings for PSL 2025

David Warner in PSL: Former Australian opener David Warner (David Warner Karachi Kings PSL) has signed to play for Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Karachi Kings bought David Warner for $3,00,000 i.e. 26 million 6 thousand and 640 rupees in Indian rupees. Warner was one of the 44 players included in the Platinum Draft of PSL 2025.

David Warner to Play PSL for the First Time

Currently, Warner is in a race to score runs in the Big Bash League, where he has scored 324 runs in 8 innings at an average of 54. Warner has so far scored three half-centuries for Sydney Thunder in the Australian league.

It was surprising that New Zealand veteran Kane Williamson failed to be sold in the Platinum round. However, he is not the best in the T20 format. He is currently playing for Durban Super Giants in the SA20 and scored 60 runs off 40 balls in his debut match against Pretoria Capitals in Durban.

The rest of the New Zealand players found buyers in the Platinum Round. Adam Milne was bought by Karachi Kings, while Mark Chapman was picked up by Quetta Gladiators. Lahore Qalandars added New Zealand middle-order batsman Daryl Mitchell after his strong performance in Pakistan.
