IND vs BAN: Bangladesh batted first after losing the toss. Bangladesh scored 233 runs in their first innings. The Indian team score aggressively and declared the innings after scoring 285 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in the first innings. The Indian team had gained a lead of 52 runs. In the second innings, Bangladesh restricted to 146 runs. India got a target of 95 runs.

Indian Bowlers performed very good. Zakir Hasan, Hasan Mahmud and Mominul Haque dismissed by R Ashwin at a score of 36 runs. Shadman Islam and captain Nazmul Shanto may have handled the Bangladesh innings for some time, but as soon as Ravindra Jadeja clean bowled Shanto, the pair broke up. After that, the Bangladesh team could not make a comeback in the match again. Bangladesh’s innings limited to 146 runs. Shadman contributed 50 runs, Shanto 19 and Mushfiqur Rahim contributed 37 runs. In the second innings, Bumrah, Ashwin and Jadeja took three wickets each and an important wicket of Shadman went to Akash Deep. Yashasvi Jaiswal batted aggressively for India, he scored 51 runs in 45 balls. Captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill returned to the pavilion cheaply. With Rishabh Pant’s four, the Indian team won this series.  

Bangladesh played 74.2 overs in their first innings, India played 34.4 overs in their first innings, Bangladesh played 47 overs in their second innings and India played 17.2 overs in their second innings. basically 174 overs were played. This is less than the total overs of two days (180).

The Indian team has set many records in this test match. Consequently only 35 overs could be played on the first day.  The match got spoiled due to rain on the second and third day. On the fourth day, the Indian team made an aggressive start and showed excellent performance. Batting brilliantly, the Indian players made the record of scoring the fastest 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 runs by any team in a Test. In the second innings, the Indian bowlers did not let the Bangladeshi batsmen stay on the field for long. After this, the Indian team easily won the match.
