India Faces Setback: Two Key Players Ruled Out of Africa Tour Ahead of ODI Series

One Day Series 1st ODI Three ODIs will be played between India and South Africa from tomorrow i.e. from 17th December. So now everyone is focused on winning the ODI series.

However, a day before the start of the ODI series, India have suffered a shock. Two key Indian players have been ruled out of the South Africa tour.

From the ODI series by Deepak Chahar has withdrawn. Mohammad Shami is out of the Test series. Both of them are fast bowlers.  

BCCI has issued a statement and given information in this regard. Mohammad Shami bowled brilliantly in the recent ODI World Cup. He was the bowler who took the most wickets in ODI World Cup matches.

After this he was injured and rested. So he will not be able to go on the tour of South Africa. On the other hand, by Deepak Chahar His name has been withdrawn from the tour due to family reasons. 

Deepak Chahar was included in the Indian squad for the last two matches of the five-match T20I series against Australia in India. He also played in the fourth match but returned home in the fifth match.

At that time, there were reports that the father’s health was not good. Due to this reason, Deepak Chahar did not even go on the tour of South Africa. First he was ruled out of the T20 series and now he will not be able to play in the ODI series either. 

Meanwhile, BCCI has said in its press release that Deepak Chahar has withdrawn from the ODI series due to a medical emergency.

Regarding Mohammad Shami, BCCI said that Mohammad Shami’s playing in the Test series depends on his fitness. He failed the BCCI medical test. So he is out of the Test series.
