Team India’s Upcoming T20I Series Against South Africa
Team India led by Rohit Sena is currently playing a Test series against New Zealand at home. After this series, Team India’s youth brigade will go on a tour of South Africa. Team India will play the T20i series in this tour. Team India will play a total of 4 T20I series against South Africa in this series.
The BCCI selection committee has announced the 15-member Indian squad for this series. Suryakumar Yadav will lead Team India. The opening match of the series will be played on November 8. The fourth and final match will be held on November 15.

New Faces in the Squad
The selection committee has given a chance to 3 new players for this T20i series. This includes 27-year-old batsman Ramandeep Singh, Vijay Kumar Vaishakh, and Yash Dayal. Ramandeep was selected for the Emerging Asia Cup 2024 tournament. India reached the semi-finals of the tournament under the leadership of Tilak Verma.
Key Absences
Also, BCCI informed that 2 players of Team India did not participate in the series due to injury. Both pace bowler Mayank Yadav and all-rounder Shivam Dubey have missed the series due to injuries. Both were unavailable for selection due to injuries.
Riyan Parag has also been included. Parag had a shoulder injury a long time ago. Ryan is gearing up for a full recovery from the shoulder injury itself as soon as possible.
