Mahmudullah rescued Bangladesh by playing a brilliant innings of 98 runs in the third match of the ODI series being played against Afghanistan and helping the team reach a total score of 244.

38-year-old Mahmudullah performed brilliantly in this match and after losing 4 wickets for 66 runs. He made an important partnership with Mehidy Hasan Miraz and scored 98 runs.

Mahmudullah missed the century by two runs due to being run out in this match. Rahmat Shah and Gurbaz showed Mahmudullah the way to the pavilion.
