While the USA defeated Ireland by nine wickets. Australia avenged their loss to Bangladesh and registered their second win of the tournament with a thrilling last-over win

Nigeria’s Historic Win Over New Zealand

Nigeria women’s cricket team created history on Monday as they defeated New Zealand in a group match of the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup 2025.

The match was affected by rain, with Nigeria batting first and scoring 65/6.

In reply, New Zealand could only manage 63/6 and Nigeria won their first-ever World Cup match by just two runs.

The USA registered a historic win against Ireland

In this match, Isani Vaghela’s three wickets and Disha Dhingra’s 46 runs helped the USA to a stunning nine-wicket win against Ireland.

Ireland batted first and the entire team was all out for 74 runs. Vaghela took three wickets for 10 runs and bowled brilliantly for the USA.

Chasing the easy target, the USA achieved the target in 10 overs with a brilliant innings of 46 runs by Disha Dhingra.

Australia Avenge Their Loss Against Bangladesh

Australia defeated Bangladesh by two wickets to avenge their defeat in the 2023 tournament.

Bangladesh batted first and lost three wickets for a score of 18/3, but Afiya Ashima Era took charge of the team by scoring 29 runs and Bangladesh scored 91/9.

Australia completed the target in 19.2 overs and won.
