Babar Azam-led Pakistan team defeated England by 3 runs in the fourth match of the seven-match T20I series against England today. Pakistan won this match in a dramatic manner by 3 runs. With this, they achieved a 2-2 level in the series. The Pakistan team, who came to the field to bat first, scored 166 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Chasing the target, the England team was reduced to 163 runs.

Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan’s 88 runs played a major role in Pakistan’s victory. Pakistan bowled out England for 163 runs on the back of aggressive bowling by Mohammad Nawaz and Harris Rauf. Rauf, who took 3 wickets in this match, was adjudged man of the match. The series is now level 2-2.


England captain Moeen Ali won the toss and elected to bowl first. The pair of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan shared 97 runs in 71 balls for the first wicket, Babar was dismissed after playing an innings of 36 runs in 28 balls with the help of three fours. Rizwan scored the 19th half-century of his T20 career. Rizwan played an innings of 88 runs in 67 balls with the help of 9 fours and a six.

Shaun Masood scored 21 runs in 19 balls. In the last moments, Asif Ali scored 13 runs in 3 balls with the help of two sixes and the team’s score crossed 160. England bowled tight in the last 8 overs and allowed Pakistan to score only 69 runs.
