Sachin Tendulkar Appointed Global Brand Ambassador for Bank of Baroda
Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has been appointed as the Global Brand Ambassador of Bank of Baroda. The bank has made the cricketer its brand ambassador for the second time. Earlier in 2005, Rahul Dravid was the brand ambassador of the bank. After that, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has been appointed as the Global Brand Ambassador.
Bank of Baroda has presence in 17 countries. Therefore, bank officials say that Sachin Tendulkar will play an important role in global branding given his international image. Olympian PV Sindhu, Indian women’s cricketer Shafali Verma, and tennis player Sumit Nagpal are also contributing to the bank’s various campaigns. The bank has said in its statement that, ‘Sachin Tendulkar is a big name. He is known in every corner of the world. He also represents various groups in India. Given its popularity, Bank of Baroda will get a boost globally.
