It is being told that Sitashu Kotak, who is playing the role of head coach of India-A, will join the Indian team as a batting coach. Sitashu will try to overcome the shortcomings of the batsmen in the T20 and ODI series against England.
An official source of BCCI said, ‘Yes, Kotak’s name is being taken very seriously as the Indian batting coach. It will start in February. BCCI will announce this very soon. The batsmen of the Indian team, especially the experienced players, have had a lot of trouble in the last two series. They need to improve their batting.

About Sitanshu Kotak
Sitanshu Kotak is currently the head coach of India-A. Kotak was the head coach of the Indian team that went to Ireland in 2023 under the captaincy of Jasprit Bumrah. The 52-year-old former batsman has captained Saurashtra in domestic cricket.
His performance in domestic cricket was amazing. He played domestic cricket from 1992 to 2013 and during this time scored 8061 runs in 130 first-class matches at an average of 41.76. Kotak has scored 15 centuries and 55 half-centuries.
BCCI will announce this very soon. Team India currently has to play a white ball series against England, which is starting from January 22.
