Yash Dayal’s Absence from Test Squad: A Boost for RCB
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday announced the Indian squad for the three-match Test series against New Zealand. BCCI has announced the Indian Test squad for the three-match series against New Zealand. Young and experienced players have got a chance in the team. Rohit Sharma remains the captain, while Jasprit Bumrah has been entrusted with the vice-captaincy. Interestingly, Yash Dayal, who participated in the Test series against Bangladesh, has not been included in the squad against New Zealand. He did not get a chance in the playing eleven against Bangladesh.

Yash Dayal plays for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL. Yash Dayal’s absence in the Test series against New Zealand has benefited RCB. Because Yash Dayal will not be in Team India till October 31. He will not be able to play international matches or make his debut and will therefore remain an uncapped player. Before the mega auction of IPL, all the franchises have to submit the list of players they have retained to the IPL Governing Council by October 31.
