Agni Chopra’s Dominating Streak in Ranji Trophy

Mizoram’s star batsman Agni Chopra seems to be on fire in the Ranji Trophy. Agni has grabbed everyone’s attention by scoring a double century in the second match in a row. The daughter of filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra and film critic Anupama Chopra scored a powerful knock of 218 off 269 balls in the match against Manipur. It was his third 100+ innings in the last three matches.

Previous Heroics and Double Century at Ahmedabad

In the previous Ranji Trophy match, Agni Chopra had scored 110 runs and 238 runs against Arunachal Pradesh in Ahmedabad ground. Mizoram won the match by 267 runs. Agni Chopra has also represented Mumbai in Under-19 and Under-23 level cricket. On the advice of coach Khusfrit, he started playing for Mizoram.
