The Mumbai Cricket Association announced a 16-member team for their third match in Ranji Trophy 2024-25 on Monday i.e. 21 October. The Mumbai team dropped opener Prithvi Shaw for the match against Tripura. MCA Secretary Abhay said that Prithvi has been given a break. The selectors and coach interacted with him and he was asked to make some improvements, including fitness.
